The TCS math team: former K–5 classroom teachers and a parent who homeschooled three grades at the kitchen table.
It started with a 3rd grade teacher who began homeschooling her own kids. At school, a pacing guide. At home, a 300-page manual. Neither was written for the person teaching.

How do I know the answer keys are right?
Check them: the sample week above includes its key, and every week closes the same way. If it isn’t what you saw here, you have 30 days.
Does it replace my district’s program?
No. It’s the daily practice and review your program doesn’t give you, in the order of the year. Use it for warm-ups, small groups, early finishers or homework.
I’m not a math person. Can I teach this?
Yes. That’s who the Say-it box is for: plain English, exactly what to say. Then short practice, and the key to check it.
I teach one grade. Why all six?
Because your class isn’t one level. Teach your grade, and reach for the grade below or above when a kid needs it. The Placement Check shows where each kid starts.
Does it line up with our standards?
Yes. It’s aligned to grade-level standards. Teaching in Canada? Grade 3 is Grade 3, and Grades 1 and 2 include a Canadian money unit.
