Questions ballet teachers ask

I bought a curriculum once and dropped it by month four.

Block 6 doesn’t work unless Block 3 happened. Each objective lives in two blocks, so month four isn’t month one.

Can I see a page before I buy?

Yes. The year map and all nine pages of Block 7 are on this page. No email.

I already know ballet.

You do. What you don’t have is the year written down, in order, with what each block builds on printed on it.

Will it clash with what my studio already does?

No. This is the year of classes, not a method. It works alongside whatever your studio already follows.

My class is forty-five minutes with mixed levels.

That’s the class it’s written for. Every exercise has a newer and a stronger note, and every block has a thirty-minute cut.

What ages and levels is it written for?

Ages 6 to 10, Levels 1 to 3. Not pointe, not pre-pointe, not a pre-professional track. Pre-ballet 3 to 5 comes as a bonus.

Are there videos?

No. Counts and cues are written the way you’d say them out loud, to read standing at the barre.
